"This is our 4th stay - so clearly it suits us. Friendly, comfortable and clean. Good food in pub. The mini bathroom, ( in room 2) however, needs a couple of simple improvements! The light over the mirror is still hanging loose - as per previous stays! The shower head is loose and you have to hold it with one hand to stop spray going directly downwards- which is nigh impossible! "A lovely thatched roof pub with sitting out area. The lady was so lovely and welcoming we can’t remember her name but she lived right by the pub. The room was lovely, a nice comfortable bed, lovely pillows and lovely and clean. The lady who was cleaning the rooms was on her own that day and we asked if we could check in early the day before. "I originally booked my stay at the Rising Sun Inn because I was in the area to see Van Morrison. What I didn't expect was how much I'd enjoy everything else the hotel has to offer. "Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable!"
