"The house is really pretty and well kept, the food was good, the staff were polite and helpful. Unfortunately, none of that adds up to the sound of the raucous downstairs throbbing through our room constantly and at a decibel loud enough to be measured on the Richter scale until midnight…. I don’t have a problem with the club having a function and people having lots of fun- but maybe don’t sell the stay as a quaint and old-school relaxing retreat.
