"The new Aurora Inn seems strained as it calls itself a “boutique hotel.” Staff is very pleasant, yet still figuring out how to describe the town, replenish weak coffee in the lobby, make change. As overnight guests, without previous reservations in the restaurant, we were seated awkwardly on the patio. Nice clean room, lovely lobby area, historic homes and taverns in town."

"The rooms were clean, modern, and updated. The halls and common areas were clean, but a little worn. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was a little more limited than I had hoped. Waffles, hard boiled eggs, breads/bagels, and oatmeal."

"I stayed one night, double queen room. Very spacious, plenty of room for stuff, lots of storage, good sized bathroom with lots of counter space. Had a small coffee bar also with counter space below. Had an additional shelf just inside the door for keys or purse. Bed was very comfortable. Very clean. Decent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Fairly quiet. Has a very nice outdoor space with pond and waterfall. In the late afternoon they have ice cream, cookies and popcorn for free. Staff was all nice. Breakfast was good, typical stuff except they had corned beef hash and cooked veggies. The biscuits and gravy was the best I've had at a restaurant. Area has lots of places to shop and eat and right next door is Perkins and Chick Filet. Went out at night to get something from my car and did not feel unsafe. I didn't use the pool but it looked nice. I did use the fitness center which is basic but fine. Hand weights, treadmill, bike and elliptical."
