"We had a lovely one night stay at River Palace before a cruise. Very welcoming as soon as we walked into the door. The public areas as well as our room were beautifully decorated. Location was great with restaurants, shops and a train station close by. The staff was very professional and helpful. I will mention the stairs. We had a flight up from our living area to the bedroom. A bit slippery. But that wouldn't deter us from returning. We would definitely stay here again."

"Room was absolutely stunning, we had the presidential suite and it was so clean and beautiful views and the staff was so friendly and helpful with taxis or anything we needed! The roof top restaurant was amazing and view was beautiful, the only thing was the other authentic Italian restaurant in the hotel was not good food or service wise at all but still a 5/5 hotel"

"I had the single ‘Vespa’ room and honestly value for money was excellent. The bed is bigger than a single more like a small double. Nice lighting level options. Great air conditioning (set it to ‘powerful’). Shower was good once I figured it out and even had a mist setting and multiple jets. The little terrace was a great place to relax before heading out for the night. Only one issue really, the tap at the wash basin sink is awful. Less than a dribble. The whole hotel was clean and looked recently decorated. Not premium fixtures but good enough for the price. Staff were helpful. Excellent location too. All in all very pleased!"
