"What a special stay in animal view lodge. Wonderful staff (special thanks to Jacob and Claire for our excursions, but also guest house staff). Breakfast and dinner where menus were multiple and food was an excellent quality.

"Beautiful retreat right in the heart of Hunter Valley. Modern and thought out room with all the amenities you need. Loved the views of the hills and lake, with the bonus of seeing a couple of wild kangaroos early in morning outside of the cabin! The breakfast provisions are a nice touch, as is the complimentary shuttle to Bimbadgen. Would really recommend the latter for their sunset sessions."

"Albeit a little old and dated, the room was clean and tidy. Especially loved the compliment bottles of water and Tim Tams to enjoy with a cup of tea.

"We were very impressed with the size and layout of this room.
Our daughter uses a Wheelchair and the room was very well layed out, plenty of space to get around and a very accessible bathroom.
It was very clean and tidy, the Family Room had 3 beds as well as a comfy lounge.
It was also at a very good price point for a room like this in Tamworth.
The management were very courteous and helpful.
We will definately stay here again."

"The room was fairly clean, but it was a glorified tent, so we did not expect primo cleanliness. The area is a bit remote, so staff was not readily available. The restaurant was good and the staff there was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We had a good time, and we would return there again without hesitation. "
