"Cozy, quaint hotel with real early American New England feel. Our room was at the far end from the Old Salt Restaurant so we didn't hear any noise from there. I have no idea if rooms closer to the Old Salt can hear anything from there or not. If I am ever staying in that part of New Hampshire again, I would happily stay at Lamie's again."

"The 1661 Resort is hands down my favorite place to stay on Block Island. The views are absolutely breathtaking. It's also far enough from the downtown bars and crowds that you can truly relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, while still being just a short walk or bike ride away from everything. "Tammy, the assistant inn keeper and restaurant manager was fantastic. She was attentive to every need. The restaurant staff was phenomenal as well highly recommend, it’s a little hidden gem off the beaten path. I will definitely return. Had a fabulous time."
