It nice, but it’s old, and with that comes old house problems. Water pump went out on Fri and no water until Sat evening. While it was the worst place I’ve stayed, I probably would not recommend it.

The peoperty had old southern charm and history very comfortable, room for privacy, beautiful trees and birds. Debbie and Tim were wonderful hosts also full of southern charm. Debbie cooks up a wonderful - mostly organic breakfast. I so appreciated how she catered to my vegan diet , what a treat. They both have so many stories to tell of the areas history and have lots of suggestions of things to do. We felt like family the first day - will definatly stay there again!!!!!

Woodridge B&B's garden is a place of immense beauty we couldn't stop enjoying. Looking at the century old oaks one is almost transferred in a magical world.

Keeping this one on our radar

The hostess greeted us as we arrived and gave us a tour of the B&B. The room was comfortable. We loved the balcony and the view of the garden. Breakfast the next morning was a special treat! We will be back!

very old fashioned bed and breakfast

We didn`t enjoy our stay at all because this is a very old fashioned bed and breakfast. at breakfast they do not surf bagels or toast, just a special southern staff which none of the guests enjoyed. the hosts were very friendly but actually they can offset that the overall environment needs some renovation. both pool and jaquzzi were not available for use. they are adding some chemical stuff to the water at bathroom calling it "weak water"

The Perfect B & B for a little R & R

Our stay was just wonderful. We were looking for a place to just relax and unwind for the weekend and the B and B could not have been more perfect. From the beautifully appointed room we stayed in to the massive second floor balcony we drank wine by candle-light on every evening; This picturesque, southern-styled home with it's very southern culinary cuisine at breakfast fit the bill to perfection. Mediocre Stay

The couple who own the B&B are very nice but a little too talkative. We wanted to talk to some of the other people staying at the B&B but couldn't get a word in edgewise. I'm not a picky person but the bed was very worn out with a sway in the center and I ended up with a stiff neck. The breakfast was not as good as I hoped but it was a matter of taste rather than anything the cook did.

Essence Festival 2014 Weekend

A beautiful weekend get away

Had a very wonderful stay. The owners made you feel like family. Breakfast was as good as it gets. First the organic fruits and then the most fabulous blueberry french toast. The second day we had another gourmet breakfast, poached pear, then quiche and fresh biscuits. The nicely decorated rooms were very comfortable and clean. A beautiful weekend get away within a short driving distance to New Orleans.

A pleasant B & B with extremely nice hostess and host, excellent gourmet breakfasts. My room had access to a nice balcony looking out into a lovely live oak tree, a very pleasant place to sit. The room was nice but could have been scrubbed a bit cleaner. Location was fine, a bit close to the freeway, but secluded enough.

Fabulous B&B

This historic Inn offers timeless elegance and warm, friendly, hospitality. Tim and Debbie will bend over backwards to do anything they can to make your stay comfortable. Our room (Azalea) was charming, clean, and well appointed. The pillow top mattress was extremely comfortable and inviting. Both mornings I had a delicious gourmet breakfast thoughtfully prepared by Debbie and Tim. Without hesitation, I give the Woodridge B&B of Louisiana my highest recommendation. Diane

Gorgeous, Magical and Truly Enchanting

My husband and I eloped at Woodridge B&B and it was more incredible and magical getting married there than any other place I could ever have imagined. The kindness and thoughtfulness from Debbie and Tim was truly heart-warming. They provided us with a perfect and simply gorgeous location to be married at, a wedding cake, champagne, photographs of the wedding and countless other thoughtful touches which made our wedding day turn into a fairy tale. I?m usually not all mushy or overly sentimental but I cannot begin to describe how beautiful the property is or how gracious, considerate and enchanting Tim and Debbie are. They have every convenience you can think of, delicious food and they possess a kindness that you can?t even begin to describe in words. They even accommodated my 18 month old daughter, who has been testing her boundaries, with ease giving her a special breakfast and making us feel right at home. We stayed at the Magnolia and it was very spacious with a large bedroom, walk in closet and bathroom as well. There is an indoor staircase as well as an outdoor staircase to the rooms so guests may come and go as they please. My sister stayed in the Rose Room which was really beautiful also and had a rocking chair which was perfect for my sister to rock my daughter in while she was babysitting for us.To pass this paradise of a B&B up would be a true mistake. We are going back for our anniversary and many more times in the future!

B&B in the woods

This facility is a delightful re-model of an old school. It is a bit hard to find, I would highly recommend daylight or you are in for an adventure. The family running the B&B is delightful and wonderful to talk with. by the time we left, I wanted to go in the kitchen and swap recipes. The setting is peaceful and green, in a better suburb of Slidell.

Our wedding experience

I recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a special time with the person they love. Beautiful place!!! The wonderful people, and personal service set this place high above the standards of good. I'm so pleased with the wedding ceremony, and the fact that basically I just had to show up and they had everything planned. Definitely 5star status
