"The bar and restaurant area was beautiful and the only problem was that it was not open when I was there. Breakfast was good. The pools were clean. It is very nice gated community. And a safe environment. I would definitely stay there again."

"Good A/C, nice sized room. Appreciated the "larger" mini frudge and coffee maker in the room. Very helpful woth local resources and advice on best travel routes. Got to see a mother howler monkey nursing her baby in the tree just adjacent to the room. Room walls are concrete, so couldn't hear anything from adjacent rooms. Much more serene atmosphere than the hectic pace and crowds in Nosara and Guiones beach areas. Would definitely stay again. Thank you, Louie for wonderful hospitality."

We were the only ones staying on the property for the majority of our stay. In the high season they have a guard station and a restaurant. In the low season they are not fully staffed. "The room was in the basement with no hot water, small, and dark. The pool was the size of a large bathtub, and all small clean little prison compound. It would of suffice for a night or two, for about a 1/4 of the price i paid. But at $160 a night, it sucked. Worst hotel.com place ive ever stayed in Costa Rica."

"The stay was nice and the location to the beach was great. The bed was very hard and it was difficult to get any rest. Not as much privacy on the porch area was a negative but the staff was excellent."

"Tout était impeccable ; la chambre, la piscine,… Impossible de se sentir plus dans la jungle qu’à cet endroit! C’était magique de prendre son café dans le hamac ou se laver dans la douche extérieure. Le déjeuner était succulent et différent des « classiques » du coin. La plage de Samara était à 5 minutes de voiture: toujours facile de se stationner. Honnêtement, la tranquillité valait la distance. Excellent service, très accommodants. J’ai tout adoré!!! Merci"

"We loved our stay at Villas Verdes. Perfect location- close to town and beach. Loved the private outdoor space and a kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. Kids loved the pool and we appreciated the boogie boards and pool toys available for beach and pool. The staff were great. There was always someone cleaning and maintaining the property and beautiful tropical gardens. We’d definitely stay here again."
