"Very pleasant 2 night stay for Ladies Day at the races. Within walking distance of the course. Jean the landlady was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and all freshly cooked. The room was pretty small but it was comfortable enough for a 2 night stay. Would highly recommend this property as it is a nice house and gray location"

"This is a great value B and B. Although over a pub and close to a main road, very quiet. The pub serves good pub meals, reasonably priced and the staff are very cheerfull. Breakfast was good and the rooms are pleasantly decorated and clean. A great place to stop if you are in the area. The atmousphere in the pub was freindly but not in anyway rowdy. "

"Nice warm welcome, room was better than we expected at the price, Hot drinks available in room , parking next to room, tv with sky, but only watched the bbc news, Breakfast was excellent nicely cooked, nothing was too much trouble as I went slightly off menu, good price. bar in the evening had a nice friendly crowd in, overall a very good place to stop"

"set in beautiful countryside. very quiet, room was very comfortable with a wonderful view, and we had a shared kitchen with another room, with microwave, fridge, in which we put some cold items for the next day. hosts were wonderful, very helpful in recommending somewhere to eat that 1st night, the local pub was lovely and great food. and the breakfast that we had the following morning was exceptional, plenty of safe parking. would highly recommend"
