"We loved staying here. This is a classic stay in Tahoe City. I didn't realize it was built in the late 50's for the Olympics! We loved our room on the 6th floor; it is so lovely to have such a fantastic view of the lake and be up above all the noise and bustle. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat, just because it is so central and convenient. Yes, it is funky. Yes, the outdoor area is run down. The room was just fine. The beds could use updating (roll to the middle) but the bathroom was great, the room was quite spacious with a closet area, a desk, a separate table and chairs, and a fridge and microwave. It was spotlessly clean and tidy. For a budget stay, this is really a great option."
