Excellent Stay!

My stay was excellent, every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to make sure my family enjoyed their stay. Very clean room, comfortable beds, updated / renovated kitchen and bathroom, not to mention the can't-be-beat oceanfront balcony view. The waterpark was great as we were visiting off season and breakfast at Adam's was delicious!

Loved it was right on the boardwalk and beach was easy to access. Staff were great. Didnt like beds were springy and uncomfortable, not comfortable bedding, gas stove in room, bathroom fixtures were unpar. Need an extra door lock so young kids cant bolt out of room easy. It was easy to find. Parking was easy. We had a ocean view which was great!

The location is amazing! However, our rooms were not comfortable. Funiture very old and uncomfortable, Beds very uncomfortable. Carpets and sofa were stained. Upgrades to the rooms would make this place so much better

Hotel is on the New Jersey boardwalk. Easy access to all the boardwalk has to offer. Parking was plentiful. Our room came with a full kitchen, living room and balcony. Bedroom had two full sized beds, beds were comfortable. Pull out couch in living room had seen better days. Balcony came with two Adirondack chairs and a small table, very comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again.

Outstanding view of the ocean from the room. Great location overlooking the boardwalk. Room was recently updated and had modern amenities. Only downside, air conditioner unit is located in the bedroom and sounded like a jet engine while it was running. Overall, I would stay again.

Booked on Expedia due to mixed reviews. The hotel is a little old and dated, but the front desk & housekeeping were friendly. We stayed in family suite ocean front. It was spacious for a family of 5. The kids loved the indoor water slides, although open at 4pm I believe it was. All together, was a great stay.

I booked the hotel, then went to check the reviews. For my surprise, the hotel room was fully renovated, EVERYTHING, bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, freshly painted, perfect! The ac was a bit loud, my husband and son slept thru the noise, I am a light sleeper. Staff was very pleasant, there are rules to be followed for gym, pool, etc. so we need to follow them. Overall a 4.5

They hadn’t finished cleaning our room when we checked in. Toilet unflushed, previous guest’s food in the fridge, tashcans with trash, no sheets on the beds. To their credit, they made it right. But still disappointing. Kitchen was very nice, TVs were tiny. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Great location right on the boardwalk with ocean views.

The beds were a nightmare!! That is the only issue I had with Montego Bay. I am not sure it is even a mattress with the wonderful staff, the clean property, room are nice layout the extra things such as toast and a hair dryer were all plus but that bed was the worst.

We had a good time on our short trip. The room was bigger than expected and in newer condition, however there were issues with cleanliness. Particularly the thick dust on AC vents, the condition of the coffee pot, and your feet were black shortly after walking on the carpet. The hotel is very convenient in its location. The indoor pool was a bonus but we didn’t know the slides don’t open until 4pm weekdays. As other reviewers have shared, the elevator is painfully slow and sounds like it needs a tune-up. Overall, the room worked for our family. The view was the best part.

My family loved the waterslides and that it is on the boardwalk but not in the center so it is a little quieter. It wasn't the cleanest. We had a dirty washcloth hanging on outside chair and the silverware was gross. Everything else was clean. The pull out bed mattress was pretty yellowed and old and super uncomfortable. Don't bother trying to sleep on it.

The property overlooks the Wildwood boardwalk and beach so the view from the balcony was exceptional. We were there at the end of the season which might explain why there is a lot of maintenance needed. The sliding doors to the balconies (for our room and another room our family members used) were in bad shape (roller wheels were barely functional). A family member was trapped on the balcony for a time. The towel racks in the bathroom were low quality and a family member fell when the rack came off the wall. The bathroom tile floor around the toilet was cracked and it was clear that the underlayment was deteriorating. A good addition to the room would be a simple information sheet, which might include information about the what TV channels and service provider the hotel uses. Luckily the staff was very responsive to requests for assistance.

Friendly place to stay!

The best thing about this place was the staff. Super friendly and helpful. Great location and a great place to stay! Exactly what we expected, and the kids loved the waterslides. Friendly lifeguards are on duty, and staff are present. Would stay again. My only complaint would be, they seemed to forget they had an outdoor pool. Gate was locked when we tried to visit, no towels or clear time when it was open. Everything else was great!
