"Front desk man was the most melancholy person I have ever experienced at a hotel. Not helpful or even engaging. Every time we walked by he was on his phone and looked like he hated life. Our room was directly above the entrance to the hotel, so we heard the door slamming constantly. I mentioned it to said front desk man the morning we checked out, to which he replied, “Oh really?” Not an apology or how can we make this better. "The room is very noisy, the bed is not comfortable. The food was good. There is not enough parking for everyone and I am handicap, so it was an issue. I have stayed at better Marriott hotels and will not return to this one. "

"Hotel Ruby offers a great central location in Spokane. The staff is helpful and courteous, the rooms are clean and the free breakfast offers great choices and the food is great! It is our go to hotel for business trips to Spokane. It is also walking distance to great restaurants."

"Bad location surrounded by iron fence due to the high number of homeless everywhere. Charged me for my documented service animal as front desk had no understanding of the law. My service dog is for a true medical need yet I forced to sign for it & pay. we did not feel safe outside the hotel to even walk around, should of drove 5 more minutes east for a nicer area. This hotel is just not in a good safe location"

"I liked everything about the hotel and my room. Inviting atmosphere, very well maintained and jazz music in the lobby was a nice touch. Had to be the best shower/water pressure I've enjoyed in years! It was a safe walk to the Riverfront and back from Spokane Arena at night. My only complaint is there wasn't anywhere within a short walking distance you could get breakfast. Not thrilled that Parking is 2 blocks away and still $20/night w/tax, but the room charge was reasonable. I was...
