Very comfortable, quiet, large room; Good A/C; Amazing rooftop view; friendly, helpful staff; good breakfast; Overall a nice place to stay a bit away from the noisier streets.
Staff was amazing, breakfast was delicious and came with a gorgeous view of the city, and my room was perfect for my stay. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Dia de Los Muertos, truly exceptional. I would definitely stay at Casa Mayahuel again!

The mayor issue for us was almost never had hot water for showers. It made our stay much less enjoyable.
It would be nice to have a bath mat. Hotel would do well to invest in larger or more hot water heaters.
Breakfast was nice and Jose was an amazing breakfast cook and was very kind. All the employees were very friendly and nice which we appreciated.
Lovely boutique hotel! Staff is super friendly and helpful!
Very clean and inviting! Love the bed, and love the rooftop space for breakfast and Happy Hour!
This hotel was great. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Excellent breakfast, beautiful views. The entire vibe is relaxing and wonderful. I must say from the time you check in with the friendly receptionist girls, to the time you check out, is just a really pleasant experience. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Oaxaca.
I liked how friendly the staff was and how helpful they were when assisting with transportation services. They were awesome at answering travel related questions as well as keeping in touch with us and letting us know if we forgot anything.
Hotel had friendly and courteous staff, it’s small with an eclectic atmosphere and very clean. Free breakfast was delicious. It’s walking distance to city center (zocalo) with awesome bars and restaurants in every direction. Very safe city.
The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is very attentive, they help you booking a taxi to the airport and also were flexible with the breakfast time because we were leaving early to the airport. However, the area the hotel is located is not the best, prepare to walk uphill to get there, also the bathroom on our bedroom was not the most comfortable one, there is very little space to properly sit between the toilet and the shower.
The room was spacious practically new, and clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. The cook Jose went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place. everyone.everysm and
The service at the front desk was very helpful and courteous! Fani (at the front desk) was very helpful and prompt when we had questions. The only think that could be better is the noise level on the room that we got. We stayed in the room directly below the bar/breakfast area and it is fairly noisy if you want to sleep in late or go to sleep early. Other than that we enjoyed the stay.
We stayed at this property for a few days for a wedding. It is located close to downtown Oaxaca. The room was spacious and lovely decorated.
Breakfast on the roof top was a great experience. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Cons: There are quite a few stairs to be considered when having mobility issues. In Oaxaca toilet paper can’t be flushed through toilets.
Room was spotless, breakfast was delicious, rooftop was beautiful with the best views all day and night. Breakfast was the best. The drinks, delicious and beautiful, everyone was very nice and helpful
