Super nettes und freundliches Personal. Sauna war such sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir mussten aus privaten Gründen einen Tag verlängern. Wurde uns ohne zu Zögern möglich gemacht.

Leider war das von uns gebuchte Doppelzimmer im Ferienhaus Fux überbucht. Wenige Tage vor Antritt der Reise kam darüber eine Mitteilung per e-Mail. Mit dem Hinweis das wir als Ersatz für das Doppelzimmer eine Ferienwohnung bekommen könnten. Per Mail kam der Grundriss einer Wohnung die ok für uns schien. Am Abend unserer Ankunft waren wir dann doch überrascht. Es wurde uns eine Kellerwohnung gezeigt. Eine Küche mit Sitzgelegenheit, zwei kleine Zimmer mit jeweils einem Einzelbett drin. Bad und WC haben wir uns gar nicht mehr angesehen. Es roch zudem ziemlich muffig. Aus unserer Sicht war der uns zugesandte Plan nicht der dieser Wohnung. Was für die Unterkunft spricht ist das vom Hotel aus nach einer anderen Unterkunft für uns gesucht wurde.

Hallo, vielen Dank für die Bewertung. Ja, in der Tat ist hier etwas im Belegungsplan schief gegangen. Die Ersatzunterkunft und auch ein vorgeschlagener Rabatt konnte / wollte Ihrem Anspruch nicht genügen, so haben wir Sie an ein anderes Haus vermittelt. A terrific place to stroll Oberammergau
An adorable and spacious lodging right in the center( ok. On a side street so no traffic noise at all). Bounteous breakfast. Great staff at the desk and the breakfast lady was a sweet and efficient worker. My room was prepped every day while I was enjoying breakfast. Lovely sound of church bells the only sound at night. I’m not a tv watcher but there were flat screen TVs too.

Very clean,
Very clean, newly remodeled bath, nice size room, beds were a little uncomfortable, no a/c so street noise was often through the night. We would visit again. Staff very kind, found key easily for after hours check in. We were there for only 12 hours.

Convenient stop over in Oberammergau
Pleasant place to stay in the Oberammergau/Etta area. Parking available and many dining options nearby. Staff was pleasant and available. Fairly standard room, but convenient place to stay as a stop over to the many local sites.

Séjour en Bavière avec enfant de 2 ans.
Hotel très bien situé, au centre d'Oberammergau. Chambre propre, calme avec vue sur les montagnes, petit déjeuner en supplément très correct. Des jeux sont mis à disposition pour les enfants lors du petit-déjeuner.

Can't say enough good. Wonderful hospitality, clean comfortable homey room. Breakfast well worth the $8euros. The only knock is to bring your own soap. I'm glad we did.

Cozy, charming place to stay
Stayed here for a second time, since we loved it the first time around. Still a great place. Room was spacious, breakfast delicious and service friendly. Only complaint is that the Wifi went out at night so I had to get up early to send some work. Still a great hotel and we'll stay again next time.

Hello Melissa, thanks for your review and coming back for the second time to our Hotel. In terms of the wifi, we have a night shut off btw. 2AM and 5AM. This reflects our idea of eco tourism, to give our guests at least for a short time at night a gap of electro smog free wifi area. . In terms of health and part of our ecology strategy ( please see our Umwelt Siegel, Umweltpakt Bayern ), this is on of these steps, but sure we understand that some are in need of 24/7 wifi access. Nice hotel but check out time in morning too early
very nice hotel however check in time (mid afternoon) and check out time (much too early) made us feel that we could not really relax. In the morning we had to get up early and rush thru breakfast so as to be able to take a quick shower and pack our bags to leave by 10 am. We came during the "low" season so there were very few guests in the hotel. I found it surprising that the hotel needed 5 hours between check out and check in time to ready a room when most of the rooms were empty. It would be nice to allow guests a relaxing morning rather then rush them out of the hotel so early.

Tutto ok. L'hotel e' in centro Oberammergau, colazione ottima, camera pulite, servizio ottimo, mobili un po' datati. Unico nota negativa e' riguardante l'acustica tra le camere. Deve essere decisamente migliorata in quanto si sente praticamente tutto.

Disappointment
I booked 2 rooms, both the same, on the basis that they would be as shown in the picture for the rooms that I booked. When we (my husband and I and another couple) arrived at the hotel they only had one of the rooms that I booked. For the second room, they gave us instead an "apartment"which they said was an upgrade. This second room/apartment was not as nice as the room that I had booked. I asked the attendant if they had another room and was told that all were taken. This apartment contained old tired furniture, was poorly decorated, did not appear very clean and smelled (like cigarette smoke). There was a bed in the entranceway on the main level (not made up) and a second bed up a narrow steep flight of stairs. We chose to sleep upstairs rather than be in the entranceway. The bathroom looked like it had been remodelled but it still needed a new shower stall. The bathroom was downstairs on the main level so we had to go up and down to it from our bedroom. The breakfast was fine, but this was the only good point about the accommodation. If I book an accommodation based on availability of that room and based on a picture of what that room looks like (along with a description of room particulars) I expect to get that or a very similar room. This was a case of a room substitute that was in no way an upgrade. I expect that the room I have booked is reserved for me. We were quite disappointed about the accommodation. We would not return to this hotel.

Hello and thanks for staying with us. With your one night stay during Oktoberfest time, we are very limited in offering multi choices due all is booked out pretty much. In your case we upgraded you to a 80m2 apartment with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, balcony from a 22m2 standard room without balcony that you booked. The furniture that we provide is coming with our stye of the house, means yes partly typical bavarian farmer furniture with a antic shabby look. Having the impression, that the room was not properly cleaned can happen, just inform us right away, we send you housekeeping solving this matter. Thanks, that you enjoyed our breakfast buffet. Anyhow, we are sure sorry that you were not happy with your stay. We sure take your complaint serious and try to adopt even better to guests requests in the future. All the best

Anreise um 19.30 Uhr, Rezeption kam nach unserem klingeln an der Haustüre. Freundlicher Empfang, sauberes Zimmer, Größe des Zimmers i.O., Bad war sauber, am nächsten Morgen gutes und auswahlreiches Frühstück.

Zentral in Oberammergau
Wir waren für eine Nacht im Fux untergebracht (DZ). Das Zimmer war geräumig und nett und traditionell (andere würden sagen "altbacken") eingerichtet. Sauberkeit war ok-gut. In dem wahrscheinlich familiär geführte Haus war der Check in / Check out und Frühstück sehr nett und als Gast wurde man persönlich betreut. Das Frühstück ( 8 € p.P.) war einfach und OK. Mehr darf man bei 8 Euro auch nicht erwarten. Insgesamt etwas hellhörig intern (Dusche der Nachbarn / obere Etage) sowie extern (Turmglocke der Dorfkirche und Parkplatz ) aber trotzdem nett und ordentlich. Für den von uns bezahlten Preis im Vergleich zu den 5 Sterne Tempeln des Ortes war das Paket eine 3,5 - 4 von 5!

Nice welcome and charming room. Hotel in center of town and convenient to restaurants. They offer free cookies in in the stairwell up to the rooms--- not sure if I loved this tempataion or not! Nice touch though. Internet worked well and breakfast was okay. Coffee good.

Arrivati alle ore 23.30. Nessun problema per il ceck-in. Stanza molto confortevole. Ottima la colazione da prenotarsi la sera prima al prezzo di 8€ ( se li merita tutti). Silenzioso e ben tenuto, con i servizi di ottimo livello. Nessun problema anche per il ceck-out. da consiliare anche per una evntuale visita a Monaco ( circa 1 ora di macchina). nessun problema per il rifornimento GPL.

Hotel ligt midden in het kleine centrum van Oberammergau, omringd door goede restaurants. Zeer aardige gastgevers. Schone en ruime kamers!

Great location near the center of town. I suggest skipping the breakfast (which looked good) and eating at the awesome little café just down the block.
