We stay here for a few days every summer because of how convenient the location is and how affordable the price is. If you're very particular on how you like things, this is not the place for you. The rooms are dated but clean. The beds aren't five star, but they're actually really comfortable. The air conditioning always works (which is always my biggest concern) and the check in/check out staff are always friendly. You should not stay here if you're used to the Ritz. I've seen reviews of people saying they could feel sand on the floor sometimes, but it's the beach, so of course they can't get up every grain of sand. I'm very low maintenance and as long as it's clean and the air works, I don't really care about anything else. We will definitely continue to stay here!

it was very small and not very clean . There was mold on the ceiling of the shower. There were marijiana smells from our neighbors smoking outside.

There was an insane amount of bugs crawling out of holes on the ceiling, floor, everywhere. Little black caterpillars everywhere. The outlet behind the tv in the bedroom is super unsafe, and if you bump into the cord the slightest bit the tv shuts off and ya gotta mess with it to get it back on. The apartment was really small. But it’s right at the beginning of the boardwalk a few steps from the beach, perfect location, and was super cheap. Bathroom was decent.

Location is the ONLY reason this motel stays in business. Managed by Sea Breeze Inn next door. TV didnt work 1st day we were there. Then the TV had black blotches and jumped & had lines across the screen, due to poor internet connection & screen damage. Bottom drawer of the dresser is completely broken. The floor has green mold in the traffic areas. Walls were so thin, we were woken up by the neighbors' THICK pot & cigarette smoke. Shower area & curtain is moldy. Rust on anything metal. Screen on bathroom mirror was ripped out. Blood stain on the boxspring cover. The toilet was NOT ATTACHED to the floor. The shower wouldn't drain fast enough. So, we stood ankle deep in our own runoff.

Do not stay here!!! The smell of mold and mildew was unbearable. Bathroom was disgusting. The toilet seat and trashcan was literally full of piss. Black mold was everywhere. I had to spent $100 at Walmart on sheets, pillows, disinfectants and air fresheners. We knew this was going to be a small cheap room and we just needed a place to sleep for the night but this place was not even fit for that. Health department needs to shut this place down!!

Not a great choice

Hotel was barely good enough to have a place to lay my head. Hard to sleep due to dirty sheets, loud noises and people obnoxiously closing doors. The mini fridge didn’t cool anything. A/c worked well but was loud. Property needs maintenance and furnishings have seen better days. This was our cheapest option, you get what you pay for.

This is an old property, but it is well maintained. When we entered the room shortly after 4:00 p.m. the floor was still wet, and the room smelled heavily of bleach. It did not dissipate. The beds, which is how I often judge a room, were good, but there was a light directly outside the single window that stayed on all night, lighting the room enough that it was difficult to sleep. Big plus, though, it's only a block off the Boardwalk and the beach. If you're looking for affordable accommodations close to the beach, check out White Marlin.

The staff was very nice. Location was great to walk to the beach or the grocery store. Air conditioned, hot water, good water pressure. No signs of bugs. Could be cleaner but it wasnt terrible. Price was great for location. Would stay again!

Hotel has convenient location, just a walking distance to boardwalk and pet friendly but rooms are small. Rooms have refrigerator but no microwave. Restrooms not really clean.

The floors are filthy, walls, around door knob dirty. Kitchen had no plates etc. Was not furnished at all in kitchen. Smelled of mold. We tried putting dryer sheets everywhere for smell. I found dead bedbugs on the floor and we had to leave. A few men kept walking past our window all night so we felt unsafe there. Worst experience ever. We had to pay to book another hotel and left. I'm glad we did but so much money wasted. I spoke to front desk person and they said nothing just shook her head. Worst Birthday week ever.

I got a 2nd floor 9x9 room. Parking was well lit but tight. The carpeted outdoor walkway to my room was moldy/stained/sticky. My exterior door had enough airspace under it to deliver a boxed pizza without opening the door, but later I found it doubled as a megaphone and a nightlight. The cheap blinds did nothing to help block streetlights. The floor inside had screws trying to pop up through thin laminate. The walls claimed to be from the 1970’s. I was given 3 handtowels and 3 washcloths for 4 nights. I looked around for real bathtowels, but that’s all I got. These tiny thin towels were apparently multipurpose towels which were to double as a handtowel/bathmat. I don’t expect a maid to come in to make my bed daily, but on the 2nd day someone entered just long enough to install a fresh roll of toilet paper but it was clear that they didn’t do anything else at all, such as bring some REAL towels. I asked for bathtowels at the desk, and they gave me 3 more handtowels. The bathroom was clean was so small that you had to leave the room to open/close the door. The sink didn’t drain. The stopper was broken. You can’t adjust it, but can only pry it up with your fingernails an 8th inch and jiggle it for the water to slowly escape. A broken piece from the sink rested under my dresser for my entire visit. No one sweeps. AC was mighty but sounded like an airplane taking off. The TV channels were limited to 12. The mini fridge was the nicest part of the room due to a large freezer.
