"Do not stay in these apartments. This review is for Apartment No 6 1) The hot water smelt of rotten eggs, which on investigation is linked to bacteria in the water tank. We had to resort to boiling the kettle to use hot water. We contacted the property 18th Feb to raise our concerns and did not get a reply. "Clean room, comfortable bed, kind staff and great breakfast "

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Our room was clean and warm when we arrived, and both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and modern. At first, we were a little nervous because the road seemed quite tricky due to the heavy snow and the buildings looked quite rustic from the outside, but everything went smoothly. The breakfast was lovely as well."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Great views of Akureyri and the northern lights. The room was spotless. Staff were very helpful - we asked about wine and beer as the bar wasnt open in winter. They got us a bottle of wine and some beers which was great as it was my partners birthday. "
