"Staff was good and breakfast was quite complete. It was all a bit dated. Hallways and floors, just need refurbishing.
It was clean.
It just wasn't in good shape.
Also the poor night staff had to run front desk, shop, and do guest service runs."

"The staff was exceptional .. We loved the location we could see the river from our room. We did feel the place needs some renovations for example the table in our patio needs to be painted and deck looks old needs to be stained. also felt the pool area needs some tlc.. especially after visiting the spa's pool which was so inviting and beautiful."

"Needed a place to sleep for a few nights in July while in town visiting my sister and came across the Nocturne Motel. Enjoyed my stay there - if you're looking for an affordable, clean and comfortable place to stay would highly recommend. AC ran cold to keep the room comfortable for sleeping. All in all a great value, would definitely stay there again."

"My family and I came in for a last minute weekend trip. The property was ok..the rooms needs updating. Bathroom light was flashing and my husband had to unscrew the bulb to get it to stop. No hairdryer in the room and when I called to have one brought up it took forever..we just borrowed one from the next room as they weren’t needing it. The bellhop, I think his name was Mick was great though."

"There were places like the fan blades that had not been cleaned in sometime. There is a light right next to the entry door and when you open the door to go in, the flying bugs storm in. There were also pots and pans etc. but no range or similar. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I love little mom and pop motels but this was a bit gross.
I also had a ocean view room, the windows were so dirty I couldn't see out thru the hase.
oh, the room is maybe 10ft off of probably the busiest street...

"I chose this hotel based on the photos online, but they were very misleading compared to what the property actually looks like in person.
The room had a strong unpleasant smell and felt generally unclean. The furniture was old and worn down, and the entire space felt musty and not well maintained. The air conditioning also did not work well, which made the stay uncomfortable.
Overall, the condition of the room did not match what was advertised, and it felt like the property is not being...

"The room was only “cleaned” once during my stay, which my stay was a week. There were ants behind the bed from old food no one cleaned up, I told the staff and nothing was done. There were fresh blood stains on both of my beds. The owner came outside screaming at me that it is a no smoke facility, which I don’t even smoke. She did not introduce herself, just started screaming. My children were crying wondering why I random lady is yelling when we did nothing wrong. That’s no way to speak to...
