We would have really liked to have a coffee maker in the room. We were not interested in the full breakfast, but would have liked to have coffee in our rooms without getting fully dressed, leaving the building and visiting the hotel's other building across the street just to have a cup of coffee. Location of hotel is perfect for overlooking the bay and at night for cocktails at the rooftop lounge and restaurant. Hotel is well located for visiting Ortygia with many nearby restaurants and shops. "

"Lovely apartment with full kitchen and comfortable beds and sofa. Central location is great. Be aware there is no elevator in our building, and need to walk into small street with luggage. We were surprised to find that you had to walk through one bedroom to get to the second (with bath between), but it worked out fine. Quick responses to fix broken faucet. We extended twice! Very walkable and close to food and bus stop."

"Palazzo Del Sale is a gem. Giovanni was so welcoming and friendly, as were his staff and dog Gigi. At check in we were treated to a cappuchino before Giovanni helped us with our bags up to our room. The location of the hotel is perfect for easy walking around beautiful Ortigia. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable and having the patio just outside our door an added bonus. I highly recommend the Palazzo Del Sale and look forward to visiting again. "
