A not so cheap motel that offers access to this part of Lake of the Ozarks. The shower was disgusting and I had to go to the gas station and buy some cleaner to clean the shower myself. The room was otherwise clean, but kind of frustrating when you have to clean pubes from the shower. You check in before you ever get there and you don’t actually see a live person. The place looks full just because it’s the only hotel in the area that gives you good proximity to the local marinas. Motel was $160, for this area and this time of the year seems a little pricey.

The room was pretty clean and i did not have to interact with staff. I work motel myself and was pretty impressed with the check in. It was a good night.

I've been staying here for years, this is the first time since the remodel/new owners. Updates are nice- floors are much better, new toilets and sinks. It was very clean and comfy. Much less personable, no esrly check in available, no response from staff that are no longer in the office. Worth the price increase? Probably not. Will continue to stay here as its very convenient to where i am visiting.

Well there was no person on site for asy issues. There were 2 guys there that had reservations and did not know room number or code to get in door. they spent 3hrs trying to get a person to answer the phone but it finally took my number that i had to get someone to resend there room numbers and codes to them. we were even getting ready to call police to figure out how to speak to a person. the numbers went to someone in another country who could not get it what they needed.

Place is clean and comfortable. No staff on site so when we had water issues, only could leave a voice mail. Should be able to get hold of a live person to sort these things out promptly

Pleasantly surprised to find out the property went under a complete remodel since booking the stay. Rooms were cute and quaint. Beds were very comfortable. Facility was able to accommodate a specific request I had. Loved the idea of the retro fridge and microwave, however our fridge wouldn’t get cold enough to chill our drinks. That would be the only minor issue we came about during our stay. The outside area with the grills and fire pit were very cute.

The only issue we had was we arrived at 2 pm and they would not let us check in until exactly 3pmbut the place was nice other than that

Okay, but very pricey.

It was an average room, I thought a little overpriced at approximately $200 a night. Stayed there two years ago and paid roughly $70 a night. It was nice that they had repaved the driveway, except the west end of the drive was rough (uneven). Generally motels/hotels that I stay at for $200 a night at least provides breakfast.

Nobody there.

Rooms are very nice and recently remodeled. Beds are comfortable, shower have great water pressure. Advertised as having cable television in the rooms but there was none. Only apps on the television that you need to login to your own account (thanks Carlos, who ever you are, for leaving your login for Amazon). There is no staff on hand. Need another towel? Too bad. The office has a lock on it and no way of knowing the keypad combo to get in so I couldn't get ice or snacks. I did find a cleaning lady later on, who wouldn't give me the combo to the office, but said she would leave the door open. Lastly, the bathroom is weird. When they remodeled, they put the toilet paper holder 5ft away from the toilet. Make sure to bring TP with you when you sit down or you will be waddling over to grab some. Overall the place is average. Love the new rooms but not having no staff on hand.

The room and remodel is fine, but it is priced like a luxury property. It's a roadside motel. Also TV wise is only streaming options so if you're not a subscriber choice is limiter. For this price full cable is expected.

Recent Stay

A better phone number needs to be posted on the property in case you arrive and didn't receive the text or email with virtual check in information like what happened to us, Room floor was very dirty. Our socks would be all dirty from walking on the floor. Location was great for us and the fire pit and grill and tables was a nice touch.

Doubled price

Double price of the past. This motel was acceptable when it was $90 per night. This trip it was double that. Under new management. New mattresses are a solid upgrade. Cold water from sink was turned off due to leak. Wall AC was insulated with plastic bags. Could use a bigger TV. Used to be a good option when racing OIR, but not at new prices.
