Excellent area and hotel. I would just note the rooms are quite small but we didn’t mind (and it was comparable with other hotels in Osaka/Tokyo in terms of size).

Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka
The rooms were well cleaned daily with all amenities stocked including pyjamas. The breakfast buffet was well worth the prepay option with the room. The views from the 28th floor is beautiful.

Namba Oriental Hotel
Clean room! Free washing and drying machines. They have a wonderful welcome lounge with snacks,drinks, and coffee. Perfect place to stay Dotonbori is less than a 2 minute walk. Also they provide free bags and a vacuum sealing machine which made it easier to take our souvenirs and stuffed animals ...
