"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place"

"Wir hatten das Standardzimmer gebucht und Glück, da wir ein komplett neu renoviertes Zimmer erhalten haben. Man hat sogar noch leicht die Farbe gerochen. Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die kleine Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Frühstück ist gut, insb. das Bananen- und Rosinenbrot sind lecker. Der Service war sehr nett. "Beautiful grounds and room. Feels as if you are really blending in to the surroundings and environment of the Karoo. Best breakfast of the entire trip and it was free with the room! "

"Things have changed since I was last here , rooms are still good, they have upgraded their breakfast and the amount of choice is excellent,quality is good ,the grounds have been meticulously kept neat and tidy ,it’s a perfect place if you have kids to be free and play , such a treat to see the animals and wild animals that are close by,we really enjoyed our stay ,we were not affected by loadshedding-generator onsite "
