"Overall, I had a good stay at Aqua Pedra dos Bicos. The hotel was comfortable, the location worked well for our trip, and the staff I interacted with were generally friendly and professional. The main issue that affected my experience was being contacted twice regarding noise complaints from my room. I fully understood and accepted the first complaint, as we had been on the louder side that evening, apologized, and made a point to keep the noise down afterward. The second complaint was more concerning because I had been away from the hotel for most of that night and was surprised to be told there had been another disturbance from my room. I explained this to Guest Relations, and to their credit, they responded thoughtfully, acknowledged that the source of the noise could not be confirmed after the fact, and apologized for any possible misunderstanding. I appreciated how the hotel ultimately handled the conversation, but being flagged twice made me feel uneasy for much of the remainder of my stay. I found myself worrying about making even a normal amount of noise in the room, which took away from the sense of being able to fully relax. Aside from that experience, I enjoyed the hotel and had a positive stay overall. I would simply encourage the hotel to verify the source of noise complaints in real time whenever possible before attributing them to a particular room."
