"I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts. But after staying here, my mind has totally changed. "Comfortable cabin in a bit secluded area, in the Costa Rican rainforest. We love peacefulness, quietness and close-to-nature location. Our cabin was clean, spacious, with well functional bathroom and veranda facing wall of lush green rain forest. Tasty breakfast. The managing person is very nice, speaks no English though."
