"First the good. Our room was 10 steps from the beach. The pools and hot tub were very well maintained and very clean. The on site bar/restaurant is excellent. It is close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. The employees are excellent with the exception of the person I checked in with, perhaps she was having a bad day/night.
Then the rest, the room we had was in desprated need to be updated and repaired. The paint was in poor shape as well as holes in the plaster, cabinet doors barely hanging on, and the most strange thing. The toilet is piped into the hot water???? The kitchen is not stocked with basic cooking items so my advice is to pack like you are going camping if you plan to cook.There is not an ice machine available, but you can buy ice from the office for $6.00 a small bag. Laundry is across the street, I cannot comment on it because I was unable to get it to unlock with the key I had to sign out from the office. The price on Hotels.com is not what you will pay. For us after fees added it was a $300 difference.
In summary, not a bad experience for the price. We may come back but better aware of what we will be facing."
