We were blown away by our stay in this wonderful property. It is small boutique hotel which has been immaculately restored by the owners. We had a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable.
We had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent Commodore Hotel and the food was very good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip.

We only stayed the one night as we were passing through to visit family in Macclesfield. It was easy to get to and the surrounding scenery was stunning. Checkin was clear with reception and very informative. We had a queen size bed a kitchet with all amenities. There was a walk in shower and plenty of closets space. Very clean and tidy. The best thing was, we were given eggs and bacon in the fridge and cereal for our breakfast and a welcome bottle of Longview vineyards own wine. All was...

A truly amazing place to stay for independent adult travellers. It's not far from Port Willunga, McLaren Vale and road connections, but it is comparatively remote. You have to be self-sufficient as the staff are not on site most of the time. Expect to drive for shops, restaurants etc - and as there are no cooking facilities, you need to do that, or have meals delivered - but that is the charm. To see wallabies lolloping by at dusk or dawn, honey-eaters busy among the flowers, the horizon of...

Wonderful old building. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Apartment was perfect for our months vacation, with the added bonus of a small veranda with table and chairs. Situated in the centre of the city of Adelaide and within walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Victoria square which was across the road from the main entrance had the added advantage of the tram to Glenelg. Parking facilities available near by and reasonably priced
