"In early July: Great atmosphere. Generally quiet area, not over-touristy. Excellent breakfast and good restaurant for other meals. Great views, and brilliant location (especially if you have a car). Staff are lovely."

"Vila Luz is a great family hotel. We stayed in the upper section which has an extremely heated pool. A bit warm when the temperature is over 30celsius, great when the temperature dropped to 20celcius. The bigger, lower pool is less heated and great when it's very hot. Everything was clean, and the breakfast buffet was good, and well stocked, if a little repetitive. The staff are very friendly and helfpul. "Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt. Es gibt kein Personal, außer zum Frühstück und Check-In. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Das Frühstück lässt eher zu wünschen übrig. Die Auswahl wahr sehr klein und wenig schmackhaft. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche bzw. Im Bad wat während unseres Unterhalts sehr gering"
