"Great place great view"

"The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is clean. Breakfast buffet is delicious."

"Beautiful view of the lake, clean room and very helpful staff."

"Check in was good with helpful service. Hotel is in a great location and from outside looked good, even with indoor smoking (the norm in Macedonia). The view on to the lake is first rate and we had a corner suite. However the room was tired and needing significant work. Shower that spat water, kitchen with cracked bench and exposed wires. Common areas of hotel were filthy and . Overall a bit disappointing "

"I stayed in this hotel with my daughter for a quick visit in Ohrid. The receptionists were accommodating and the restaurant staff were helpful. The food in the breakfast buffet were not great. The room was dirty & dusty. The cleaner simply empties the bin and didn't clean our room. I had to prompt her to vacuum. Our booked room was a regular room and when I saw it, it was so disappointing. My daughter & I travel quite often and I can say that it's never a 4 star standard, not even 3 star!...

"Veldig slitt hotell. Møkkete og ingen renhold eller skifte av håndklær på rommet, selv om vi ba om dette. Månglet toalettpapir og luktet mugg på rom og bad. Anbefales ikke."

"Awesome stay"

"The property is in walking distance to the old city and steps away from the Lake. The host was very responsive. Lake Ohrid at sunset is something to behold."

"Breakfast was excellent."

"Wonderful stay. The view from the villa is incredible! Staff was extremely polite and helpful."

"Good hotel to stay and to visit Ohrid old town."

"What a great discovery Ohrid and Villa Maki are, we really enjoyed our first ever trip to North Macedonia. The villa is lovely, has a great location near to the lake front, Old Town, harbour etc, but manages to be really quiet and peaceful. The owners, Renata & Maki, are so friendly and helpful."

"We had a great time."

" Great location and the air conditioning is fantastic."

"The room was cosy and spacious enough for 3 people. Location is excellent for old town and all places are close enough to walk. "

"Amazing hotel clean and great staff "

"Exceptional breakfast. Very nice facility. An historic hotel with an amazing view!"

"If you are booking last minute for Lake Ohrid and you need a room with a bed and a bathroom at a reasonable price, this is a place for that, but not much more. It's about 5 minutes downhill to the nearest beach and to town. Uphill is a climb and doable for the able bodied, but not recommend for those with mobility issues. The owner will kindly offer pick up at the bus station; take him up on it as you won't find this place on your own. Lake Ohrid in general is lively and has a great vibe, don't...
