"A manager approached us upon check-in to let us know that our adjoining rooms were not available the first night due to unforeseen circumstances. They decided to give us hotel credit to resolve the issue. The remaining nights would continue as per reservation with the two adjoining rooms. We were told that we would receive an email once the room was ready (it never was). We were then given our hotel keys and a card with the room number written on the card. Upon arriving to the room, we were greeted by an another family because the lady at the front desk wrote down the wrong room number. While revisiting the front desk to find our correct room, we were asked several times if we needed help moving our bags even after letting them know that another family was in the room that they had written down on the check-in card. After getting the correct room number, we went to our room and found it very nice. The problem was that the safe was locked by the previous family and we could not open it. After calling the front desk, the same lady that wrote down the incorrect number told us that she had already given us the instructions for operating the safe. I checked the map and card but there were no instructions. The problem was later resolved after visiting the front desk & speaking with another employee. Non-guests were also in the pools due to poor security. We are still waiting for the final receipt after being told twice that it was sent. We received the survey email though."
