"Hotelanlage ist schön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Außer an der Rezeption wurde man ignoriert als man als voll zahlender Gast auf einem Sofa schlafen sollte. Im Kids Club war gelegentlich jemand da, kam man aber mit einem Kind wurde sich nicht gekümmert. Das Essen war schlecht. Viel frittiertes, viel Reis, wenig Auswahl. Wir haben kaum etwas gegessen. "We were given an upgrade...very thankful for the huge room. Great air conditioning unit..plus fans. Staff were all happy and helpful. A special thank you to Isuru from the Rooftop Restaurant and Bar. He helped me choose the right Sri Lankan option at breakfast...it was fantastic and a lot of food...all superbly cooked by the chefs. "Rooms are small, half the size of other 5 star hotels. Bathroom is tiny, hardly any space. Hot water tends to run out after 10 minutes. Very unusual for a hotel of this reputation. Expedia also promised a $50 voucher for VIP access when I purchased the room. The hotel said this was not communicated to them, and Expedia said they cannot honour after I arrived at the hotel.
