"We stayed in one of the cottages, was nice to have our own place! Breakfasts were great, price was right, enjoyed our 3 night stay to explore the Camden/Bar Harbor area."

"Our room was pretty run down with a shredding curtain and mildew on the ceiling. Breakfast offered sweetened yogurts, commercially produced breads and muffins, sweetened instant oatmeal packets, coffee, and OJ."

"We loved Camp Deforest!!! It’s a very unique place and experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful answering questions and helping us through our journey through Maine. I would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future."

"Excellent location to downtown and convenient parking. Loved that windows actually opened for fresh air.
Breakfast was ok. Would have liked to see some type of hot eggs and fresh fruit items.
Room was comfortable and clean overall, but bathroom had a mildly mildew smell and toilet needed attention.
Could use a little TLC.
Quiet at night was a big plus."
