Location is great. I could walk to the cruise port. The breakfast buffet is expensive so I opted for ala carte. The lights are a little difficult to operate. The design of the hotel is beautiful the function not so great.

Staff was the best part of Hotel Kontiki Tahiti. Room was as described. Location was perfect. Maybe it is a cultural thing but washcloths would be nice. Very accommodating about our extremely late arrival. Even though I booked & paid for the room, my room has been given away in the past as a no show in other travels. (My flight did not arrive until 5AM)

We were there 2 nights, wished that we would have received new towels the second day or that there were a couple more towles and face cloths in the room. Otherwise a fabulous stay.

Yes, the dark ceiling made room dark and the blinds did not have a privacy feature when opened! Otherwise, 5 stars. Our room was huge with kitchenette, great location, outstanding staff and treetop bar provided excellent sunset and wonderful drinks! It’s very popular so recommend reservation!

Es ist ein schönes Hotel mit praktischer Lage direkt am Fährhafen. Die Dachterrasse bietet neben der tollen Sicht auch Kleinigkeiten zum essen. Die Zimmer sind einwandfrei und geräumig. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist äußerst hilfreich und nett. Zum Frühstück: wir waren 3 x in diesem Hotel und haben incl, Frühstück gebucht. Neben dem Büffet konnten Eierspeisen bestellt werden. Beim 3.Aufenhalt wurden uns diese Eier mit umgerechnet 34euro in Rechnung gestellt. Gerne hätten wir dafür auf die Eier verzichtet.Bei unserer Beschwerde erklärte uns ein sehr netter Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, er versuche eine Rücküberweisung zu veranlassen, was leider bis jetzt nicht geschah. Extra an Expedia:Kann Expedia evtl dort anfragen, bevor diese Beurteilung veröffentlicht wird. Danke

The nice guy at check in spoke pretty good English and clearly explained everything to us. Room is clean and nice with everything that we need. The ferry terminal is located right across the street, so we won't need a taxi to catch the ferry.

The hotel was great for one night. I’m not sure why anyone would stay more than one because of location. Our only complaint was we didn’t know that the Restaurant was closed on Sunday. We used this place to be near the airport and wanted a place with a restaurant.

Tout est magnifique, les décors sont au goût du jour, le services est excellent, la localisation est à distance de marche de plusieurs boutiques, restaurants, marché et épiceries. C’est parfait, beau et propre. J’y retournerais sans hésiter!

This hotel in right across the street from the Ferry Port. Of course being at a port is not always the best neighborhood. It was ok but the hotel is very nice and we certainly did not feel unsafe even when just the girls went out together. The problem I had with the hotel was that the bathroom was very dark, painted all black and had two light bulbs in the center of the ceiling. It was impossible to put any makeup on in there. There was a full length mirror in the room but still not great light there either. The other issue I had was that there was a hair dryer in the bathroom but no plugs! There are a couple of plugs in the bedroom but not one near the mirror. The room was very big and had everything, Micro, fridge, stove, sink and more. It had multiple glass doors so there was no problem with any noise from the ferry. I think this is a great hotel, if you don't use makeup or have to style your hair with help of a hair dryer. They had nice a breakfast but the eggs and meats that should have been hot were not at all.

Across the road from the Ferry terminal and 10 minute walk from the Cruise Ship terminal. Rooms modern, clean, large and with kitchenette. Only one room key card is issued which is difficult when two are sharing . Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of options for breakfast outside hotel as quite expensive. Roof top bar ( happy hour 4-5pm) excellent viewing for beautiful sunsets.

We booked to stay here the night before our cruise - the port is across the street so that is the only bonus - At the end of our cruise we reserved two more nights and paid thru the Hotel Kon Tiki website - on check in they wanted our credit card for payment - we paid almost $800.00 We ended up only staying the one night since the area around the hotel is not nice, smells like urine, lots of homeless people, loud bars and it is not a safe environment - lots of police presence - We checked out one night early (and understood we would not receive a refund - which is fine) so to be double charged and the hotel not refunding us is wrong and dishonest. This hotel is not nice, and staff is not honest - pay a bit more money and go to one of the resorts just outside of the main Pateete town. DO NOT STAY HERE - or if you do ONLY PAY CASH -

The room felt very modern and warm, a few days before our scheduled stay they made reached out via Expedia and informed us of a special dinner event they had and the went the extra mile to make sure we could reserve a table for the night, and absolutely lovely experience

Spotless, spacious room. Coffee maker ginds beans fresh for each cup!!! Large shower with a handheld spray. Yay. Rainhead too. Although the hotel could not promise early check in, i got my room about 3 hours ahead and waited in a delightful indoor/outdoor area one level up.

Ottima posizione per chi vuole spostarsi con i ferry in altre isole. L'hotel è buono con stanze spaziose La mia camera, con parziale vista mare (la stazione dei ferry è proprio davanti) aveva il bagno senza luce esterna, con vasca e "doccino" (e ahimè detesto entrambi) ed era male illuminato (sembrava di stare in un privè... Inoltre era presente un enorme angolo cottura con penisola e 4 sgabelli completamente inutili in un hotel del genere. La colazione è abbastanza varia e soddisfacente, ma potrebbe migliorare, ogni mattina o mancava qualcosa o qualcosa non funzionava. Il personale alla reception e alla sala colazione è tutto giovane e sono tutti molto gentili, ma anche inesperti e questo lo si nota nei piccoli problemi, se questi non rientrano nell'elenco dei normali servizi dell'hotel. Segnalo che l'hotel non fa servizio di cambio valuta e a Papeete può essere un problema, sopratutto considerando che se vi trovere in questa città da sabato alle 13 a lunedì alle 9 vi troverete in una città deserta con nessuna attività commerciale, che non siano ristoranti o bar, aperta... Concludendo: nell'insieme un buon hotel, ma da utilizzare come porta d'entrata o di uscita dalla Polinesia e non per soggiorni superiori a 1/2 notti...

Buon hotel per un paio di giorni, ma non per soggiorni più lunghi. Basta attraversare la strada e si è nel terminal, con relative biglietterie, dei traghetti per Moorea Personale alla reception giovane e gentile, ma con poca esperienza per aiutare il turista oltre i servizi specifici dell'hotel. L'hotel non fa cambio valuta e a Papeete esiste soltanto un ufficio di cambio che però, come tutta la città "commerciale"chiude il sabato alle 13.00 e riapre lunedì mattina

Convenient location for a late arrival flight across the street from the ferry terminal the next morning. The room was clean and modern and the cafe was cute- there’s a nightclub upstairs so there was a bit of noise but not too bad
