"We had such a great time here. Yes, it is small and not "up to date" but it was so cute and comfortable. It was right across from the beach - cute little restaurant across the street and we even walked to one about .5 mile away. The service was AMAZING - it was a great price for our stay for the weekend. The only problem we had was we could not get out of the parking lot in the morning it was really tight. "

"We stayed 6 nights in a King 1 bedroom apt right off the pool. The place is so clean and the staff extremely accommodating. Great location - 4 minute walk to the beach - resort provides beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, bikes. Publix right around the corner and an Aldi within a mile. Walking distance to downtown area and restaurants and all the area has to offer. Best option if not able to do right on the beach. "

"Dee Jay Beach resort is a great place to stay in Lauderdale by the Sea. Not only us it in a great location, our efficiency was comfortable and roomy. The owner was on site and attended to any needs we had. The backyard was a nice respite from the hectic travel and had a pool and lounge chairs to relax and rest. There was a shopping plaza a short distance away, which housed a super market, a diner, and so much more. A short drive, led us to a great area with lots of restaurants and shops. ...

"I will start by saying the staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was nice and clean, even though a little dated. A TV in each room and the one in the master was a smart tv. The bathroom was nice but water pressure was lacking. The pool area was also nice with places to sit and even bbq. The area was secure with good fences and electronic locks on gates.
