"Staff at the front desk were pleasant. Hallway filled w/a musky smell and sheets. Once in our room we were blinded by the outdoor light that shown directly in and SHOCKED to find what appeared to be drug residue(allegedly.) We work in the music & service industries so when we saw what resembled to be drug particles we immediately went back to the lobby to notify the manager. Manager took our concerns seriously & commented that he would be calling the police to file a report because he “knew who stayed in that room” (his words) the night before. He apologized, told us he would contact Expedia & begin working on a refund for the room. We accepted, thanked him & moved to the next room. In the new room, we were knocked over by the smell of bleach, an AC unit that even though plugged in, would not turn on, & a broken cold water tap in the bathroom along with a sink that wouldn’t drain. We had our 6 year old w/us so at this point, it’s 11:30pm & all things considered we were completely uncomfortable & decided to leave. When leaving the manager apologized again & reiterated he was going to submit a refund for our stay. We thanked him and left. A day later I reached back out via Expedia’s message feature to check on the refund HE OFFERED us & to see if he needed anything from us for the police report. I made a point to wait to hear from the property before I posted any type of review but its been almost a week and there has been zero contact from the property at all and no refund."
