"Arriving at this villa was breathtaking. The immaculate gardens and beautiful structure gave a Tuscan villa feel while still being close enough by bus to the city centre. We booked a family room for 2 adults and 3 kids which was larger than expected and very comfortable, especially the bed. "ALERT! Manager will try to deny this review as he said to us when leaving - THE POOL. Nice view and pool but we had to get our own towels from a bag. We had to clean chairs off of food/cigs & towels after waiting patiently for help. The one pool employee was never proactive. Also BEWARE, the hotel rents out the pool to outside parties so you may be left without anywhere to sit or get service which happened to us on July 21st. THE ROOM, is in high need of renovations. "Great location, only a few minutes walk from both the Duomo and Santa Maria Novela train station. Simple continental breakfast but does the job. Staff were attentive and helpful. The room was nice for us as day travelers. If you’re doing a short trip to Florence, I would highly recommend this hotel. Also fantastic restaurant just next door with very good wait staff and DELICIOUS food"
