"Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. "Après trois sans vacances, et quelques accidents de moto qui ont eu raison de mes jambes, je cherchais un havre de paix pour me poser. De plus, je cherchais aussi un endroit 'villageois'... donc pas de ville. Ici j'ai trouvé ce havre avec des hôtes accueillants, le calme de la campagne et la recherche des hôtes de préserver l'âme du village. Quel bonheur ces quelques jours... seul vu qu'il n'y a qu'un grand espace pour y habiter."
