"This was in the heart of old town Janis. There were tons of restaurant and bar options in walking distance. It felt safe comfortable. The room was clean, well equipped and great for our family of three."

"Nice hotel with blend of old and new building. Good breakfast. Hotel parking not existing so need to park on the street, which can be expensive or not easy to find free of charge (late hours and nights) spot. However, hotel staff advice on this matter."

"Upon finding Hotel Metropolis we realised that it was a well-situated hotel for all the restaurants/cafes/bars/museums in the newer part of Kaunas as well as the Science Island and the Akropolis Shopping Centre. It was approximately a 20-minute walk from the hotel to the Old Town where Kaunas Castle is situated. The Metropolis Hotel is a lovely renovated old hotel with lots of character. We felt very safe and comfortable at this hotel. The hotel breakfast was served in the dining room...

"Very nice views of the river"

"Electric locks forxthe buildibg were great, also the loft door opened by calling. Very nice and clean, new place. There was some renovation works going on nearby, so it was bit noisy at mornings. Wifi worked well and it was nice to get spotify and netflix on tv. Bed was great, fridge was excellent shower was bit slow but still ok. 7-10 min walk to the centrum where all the cafe’s and restaurants were. Very nice and beautiful place to be."
