"This resort is not the high end expensive Marriot resort on the other side of the island. If you have the cash and desire primarily high end hotels, this is not it. "I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent.
