Top von Stiehl Winery Hotel Reviews
The River Hills Motel - Algoma, WI - Near Door County
8/10 Good
"Room was clean. The pillows were comfy. Bed was good. There is no front desk so there isn't really any staff. Nice to be parked right outside your room door. Only downside is the air conditioner is a little too small for the space it had to cool so it took a pretty long time for the room to cool down."
Motel 57
8/10 Good
"The cheery turquoise of this little vintage motel was what caught my eye. I loved learning the history of Motel 57- built on Hwy 57 as a residence for workers in the shipyards there in Sturgeon Bay during World War ll. Our room was very clean, comfortable and we particularly appreciated the extra-nicely equipped kitchenette- so much more that the typical microwave and fridge! We always love to stay in locally-owned "mom and pop" motels, and this was a nice find. Although it's a bit of a drive into Sturgeon Bay, the motel serves the purpose for which it was built- easy access to everying via Hwy 57. I want to thank Gail, who checked us in, for her courteous, efficient help with a mix-up with our reservation!"
AmericInn by Wyndham Sturgeon Bay
8/10 Good
"There weren’t many things to do in the facility outside of staying in the room or the swimming pool."
Bridgeport Waterfront Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the views, Great amenities! Enjoyed the stay."
Best Western Maritime Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here for 3 night on a door county trip. I would highly recommend staying here. Comfortable beds and very quiet."
Beach Harbor Resort
8/10 Good
"The room was large and clean. I left notes to housekeeping to get extra coffee in the room and she was responsive and also made sure to replace some towels and shampoo. Since she was already in the room, I thought maybe she would make up the bed, but it did not happen either of the full days we were there. Our room faced away from the center yard and therefore had no sliding door. Sliding door rooms had their own chairs outside. Management could maybe place a few extra chairs in front of the center windows on either side of the door to provide the ability for other guests to enjoy the out of doors (away from the beach and bar area???"
White Birch Inn
8/10 Good
"This place was nice and clean. Just one thing the beds were a little hard. But everything was fine."
Snug Harbor Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cabin. We really enjoyed watching the boats and the lift bridge. Very convenient area but away from the bussell."
Holiday Music Motel
8/10 Good
"Great 50's history vibe. Hotel is renovated but kept the history alive. Host was welcoming. The outside patio area is great, although we didn't use the fire pit, they had all the necessities for a nice campfire experience, enjoyed the patio in the evenings. Close to downtown, all walkable. It has the original cafe counter, with tea and microwave etc for guests to use, but I thought morning donuts or toast option would be great. Coffee and fixings available in the room though. I think it's fine for dogs and their owners to feel welcome, but other guests should know there are designated rooms just for these guests."
