We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming guesthouse! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The host were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations and any questions we had. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The beds ensured a great night’s sleep, and everything was thoughtfully prepared to make us feel at home. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout...

Beautiful apartment. Very comfortable bed and living area was spot on. We were here as a couple but also a works trip and the location was perfect for both. Breakfast was excellent with wonderful service. Staff could not do enough to help us and make our stay perfect. This place is about 2 minutes walk from the beach and there are several nearby as well as small shops bars s and great restaurants Will definitely return if we get the chance.

Lovely traditional hotel with excellent food. Very friendly staff. Comfortable room. Delightful surroundings. Excellent outings on the estate. Beautiful location. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Very nice hotel with excellent service

We loved our little chalet which was really comfortable and immaculately clean . It was a little hot even with the air con on but the outside temperature was over 40 degrees which is very unusual . The food in the restaurant is great and the pool area is nice . There are tame deer who are really sweet and hang around the chalets in the morning . The game drive was superb and we saw loads of different animals . Last but not least are the wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful staff . We...

Fantastic Boutique Guest House

What a wonderful Apartment. Beautiful and clean with AMAZING views. The Apartment has an uninterrupted view of the ocean and we even got to watch the Whales from the balcony. The Apartment is huge with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The cleaning lady was lovely and friendly and did our laundry when we arrived and everything was washed and dried in no time. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family. It was definitely a highlight of our 2 week holiday...

Unique wilderness location in the middle of a nature reserve. Superlative food and service. Extremely comfortable rooms.

Great stay at this amazing place. The manager, Clinton and his wife run a great place, the food was really good, and the staff were friendly and courteous. The views are stunning, and the hiking trails are well maintained, with many hiking options, the afternoon by the pool is a great way to chill after a morning exploring the bush trails, plenty of wildlife around from the mice and hares that share the grounds with you, to the Springbok and the majestic Gemsboks. Will 100% come back when in...

Another lovely stay at Darling Lodge with Stephan and Oliver. Very welcoming. Good advice on restaurants The Old Forge in Darling and The Beach House in Yzerfontein Dont miss the Darling Museum very close by. It's a real gem!

Great location and beautiful gardens.

Superb location for ‘ either side’ of the beach, with path directly onto the beach. Delightfully peaceful, with easy access to local restaurants. Staff very helpful in locating places to visit. I can thoroughly recommend Bay View Guest House.

Amazing location, friendly staff and great breakfast. Wish I could stay forever! The view onto the Atlantic from the balcony is breathtaking!
