"Nice hotel in a great location to everything in Siena. A bit dated. Parking in the back of the hotel for about $26.00 for approximately 24 hours. Decent buffet breakfast that was included. Great little Gelato place next to the hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful."

"Parking is tricky, but we found a free parking lot close by. Check-in was easy and Livia was a gem full of helpful tips and resources. Check out - the front desk guy wasn’t very helpful. We paid the city tax in cash and wanted our change in coins - just a few coins to use in town- very much needed in Italy and he wasn’t willing to provide coins or even break a ten. He offered no assistance. Overall the room, spa and property is nice. No restaurant during off season, but the breakfast provided...

"Beautiful well maintained location! Amazing views! The breakfast buffet was great and so large! Particularly loved the orange juice and cappuccino machines. The restaurant on site has the same menu for lunch and dinner so pro tip eat lunch at the bar with a different menu if you aren’t going out. The shuttle only goes to San Gimignano and runs at 10, 11:15, 1:30 and 5:15. We wish there was a 3PM option but taking public transport is cheap and easy. "The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. "Everything was great at this hotel! We stayed in 5 cities across Italy this trip and this one was the best! Huge room, excellent firm bed, super clean, the staff was excellent, breakfast was fresh and lots of selections. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Florence!"

"Great clean inviting hotel with amazing common spaces. Greatly appreciate it being just a smidge outside of the chaos that is the historic city center. You definitely have an extra 15-20 minute walk to get to the primary tourist destinations, but after a day of the Uffizi to Ponte Vecchio to Academia human conveyer belt, a little calming walk back to the Hoxton was a welcome and wonderful retreat. "Our experience was consistent with previous reviews. Location is ideal. Easy entrance into main attraction area and with rooms off an interior courtyard property is super quiet at night. Rooftop terrace is ideal. Relaxing, great cocktails and a perfect way to end a day sightseeing in the crowds of Florence. We didn't realize the restaurant is not open for dinner. Breakfast was crowded, food ok. Overall a nice property."
