SureStay by Best Western Motor Lodge Phoenix Airport near Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"Driving to the place I thought for sure I was gonna die. The neighborhood is TERRIBLE. I think I passed a jail of some sort a few blocks down even. The the property was well lit and set far off the street. Room was small but nice. Things worked as they should, well, the bed, TV , icebox and shower worked fine. Think they just finished a remodel or something, cause it was very nice. So if you go, go now before it gets ruined!"

Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful grounds, clean room, nice patio
But, pool / jacuzzi late evening needed attention
Used towels and floating bandaids were yucky but all around was a great stay"

Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at before; had it been a lower price range, I would adjust my expectations accordingly. The interior spaces (lobby, rooms, bar) are beautifully designed. However, most of the interactions I had with the staff were questionable at best. The pool was closed “for cleaning” for most of the day on a Saturday but then I was told by the same staff member that it was closed for a “private event”. The pool was the main reason I selected this property, so that we’d be able to easily access it with our spa visit. Instead they sent us to the pool on the completely other side of the property, which looked like a sad motel pool, bathroom was filthy. There’s no QR code/menu/phone number listed anywhere at the sad motel pool to be able to place a food order, so you just have to navigate it from the hotel website with the restaurant menu; you have to call the front desk to get connected to in room dining). It seemed like the person taking my order had no idea where this pool was located & asked me where it was. By the time we had lugged all of our bags to the second flr, we come to find the room keys were never activated. The stay seemed to be looking up when we got some great cocktails from the main bar in the lobby, but then come to find out when the pool finally reopened from the“cleaning/private party”, it took 45 min to get our drinks from the pool bar and they were incorrect. It was clear our server completely forgot to place the order"

The Scottsdale Resort and Spa, Curio Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Good"

GreenTree Hotel Phoenix West
4/10 Poor
"Included breakfast: bread and toaster. No condiments and nothing else except coffee. Nothing more. Bathroom tub and shower had big-time mold at every joint. In room air conditioner controls inoperative and produced noise just this side of the business end of a 737 engine of takeoff."

Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort
4/10 Poor
"Flooring/carpeting in room was dirty. They need a good shampooing and/or replaced. Pools were unsupervised, so obnoxious teenagers take over the hot tubs and typical families cannot enjoy their time. This happened at least 3 times in different pools across the property. The pool decking and sidewalks throughout were filthy. This property is in dire need of a refresh and needs better routine maintenance. A power washer, power scrubber and a floor shampoo on a scheduled basis would go along way. Overall, the all staff were nice and helpful. We will pass on any future visits to this property.
We will not be coming back to this resort "
