The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. ​Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. "The hotel is located in a lovely little village with a harbour and lots of very good traditional restaurants. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable and all have large balconies with beautiful views across to Sami and the island of Ithaca. Our room had a huge bed and had a great power shower and fluffy white bath towels. It was all very clean and well maintained. "I have stayed at Alexatos several times and will do so again if I come to Agia. The apartments are comfortable clean and quiet, very close to the centre but set back, so almost no traffic and very quiet at night. Mirka, Demetrios and Steven are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome - they even helped me with some trouble with my rental car. "

"We loved our stay at this beautiful, centrally located hotel. After long days of exploring the island, the quiet and comfortable rooms provided a fantastic night's sleep. Everything was exceptionally clean, well-stocked with towels, and featured balconies with stunning bay views. While the showers were a bit tight and the air conditioning was slightly weak for the island heat, it didn't impact us much since we were out most of the day. "Een parel in Vathy. Vanuit het hotel heb je mooi uitzicht over de baai. Het is heerlijk stil en de kamer heeft een lekker bed, prima badkamer en gelukkig geen saaie ‘trendy’ hotellook. Het ontbijt met veel verse & huisgemaakte producten, en de koffie zijn heerlijk. De eigenaresse is erg lief en gastvrij; we hadden een heerlijke tijd hier en komen zeker nog eens terug. "

"The place is very convenient but lots of amenities needs extra payment. Only had one bad incident which the cleaning lady just entered our room while we were sleeping. The ocean view was not there even when we paid for that side. Aside from that every staff was very nice."
