"The hotel was under heavy renovation and it was pretty evident everywhere except for the front entrance area. The carpets in the hallway were extremely dirty and the stairway seemed to be falling apart. If it weren't for the renovations actively happening, I would have just assumed the place was falling apart. Our room appeared to be in much better condition upon first glance, but that changed once we got back to our room for the night. We dropped our bags off and that had to go to another...

"Top marks for clean. Parking is a challenge, the subterranean lot is tight as a can of sardines. Location is great, lots of nearby restaurants, check out the Blue Hen across the street. Everything you see about thin walls is true. You can hear your neighbors clearly. Lucky it is not a party hotel, we did fine with noise after 10 pm. I liked the room, easy to spread out and relax. "This was our 2nd stay and it was better than the last one. Although I hardly saw any staff our 3rd floor room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable and everything was filled in the bathroom. The breakfast was sufficient, although nothing to get excited about. I think if the place was brightened up a bit and new carpeting and lighting installed it would be a big improvement. All in all I would consider another stay in the future."

"The ocean front view was perfect! The dumbwaiter was so convenient! Complimentary coffee in the lobby was much appreciated. Within walking distance of everything, plus the trolley to Rehoboth very nice. The building could use some upgrading, but overall a great stay!"

"Hotel Bethany Beach was lovely! We got vouchers for beach chairs and an umbrella every day, two free tickets for dino mini golf, and a decent breakfast every morning. The location is awesome; just minutes from the beach (you could walk, drive, or take the trolley). The staff were super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!"

"I like the property location and access to beach and walkway. The staff was very nice. I didn’t like the variation in the rooms described as queen suites. I booked 2 queen suites, 1 for 1 night, the other for 2 nights. To my dismay the suite for one night was larger and cheaper and I was unable to switch the rooms. Also, the parking spaces are very tight, so beware."

"We had an amazing stay. Everyone was very helpful and the hotel was very clean. All of the amenities were amazing and there was even more than I knew was included when I originally booked it. I loved that you could use all amenities a few hours before check in and also after checkout until 3pm. This was great for us because weather was not great for beach so we were able to use the pool and hot tub after checkout until 3pm. We had our two children (5 and 7) and they were beyond happy with this...
