"Villa Angela is a very beautiful hotel and it sits high up above Taormina in the mountains with incredible views of Mount Etna, and the Harbour. Everything was very clean, well kept and luxurious. The restaurant was delicious and the staff extra helpful. The pool was amazing. Truly a five star experience!"

"The location is wonderful. My only complaint is the bathroom - although private- it was not inside my room. I had to use an old fashioned key to lock and unlock my bedroom and then go to the hallway to lock and unlock the bathroom every time. It was a bit inconvenient. Also the AC needs to be updated. I was sooo hot."

"I cannot say that I would recommend this hotel, and there is a large disparity in quality of accommodation and service between Hotel Metropole in Venezia and Taormina. I would recommend considering any other option first. Key takeaways: We had a king suite in July, so during peak season. The room was not ready for our check in and we had to wait for it. Room cleaning was clearly an issue for the property as the room was not refreshed until 5pm. The light switches in our room did not always...
