"Property is next to the beach, good for families with young kids. But it was extremely crowded so it was difficult to enjoy the pool area or even the beach view. Buffet was varied for breakfast and plentiful."

"Our family of 4 very much enjoyed our time here. We had a family suite which was just enough for us and our two boys age 11 and 8. The big balcony was especially helpful for a place to dry clothes and towels after the day at beach and pool. We also appreciated the cold water purifiers stationed around the hallways. HowId rate the things we did: #1 beach and pool: gorgeous, clean, comfortable. Get pool chairs early. The beach is better in the morning or early evening. #2 food: we did half board and were so impressed by quality of the food. At first we were only going to do breakfast, but when we realized how good everything was and that our kids would be in the pool all day it was just easier. And so worth it. Meal times are time boxed though so be sure the check that. #3 excursions: while the resort is amazing, there is so much to do nearby. We went scuba diving near Alcúdia one day, and explored Formentor another. Leave the resort strip at least once or twice! #4: other activities onsite- silent disco night was awesome. The staff are so kind and fun and really engage the kids. We also played tennis- courts could use an update and be sure to book early or late for shade. Thing to note: we were surprised by the number of families with little kids (under 6). Our boys as basically tweens seemed old. We had a wonderful time, and everyone was very relaxed. But I would not suggest this as a place to come as a couple or alone."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Gran Bahia. We couldn't have wanted a better room, right on the sea front with magnificent views. Breakfast was included in our stay and was amazing, all fresh and loads of choice. We chose to have evening buffet a couple of times. Again, the food was excellent and extremely good value for money. I would recommend this hotel overall but there are a few negatives. 1) the pool is far too small for the size of the hotel. Fortunately, we had a car so went seeking beautiful beaches. 2) The area of the beach opposite the hotel is OK but not the best, however, if you walk along the front to the end of the strip, the beach gets much better near the dunes. 3) Parking is on the streets and not always easy to find a space. I can imagine it being a nightmare in main season. 4) The room was made up daily but never properly cleaned. Tea and coffee was never replaced and dirty glasses were just left for us to keep using the whole of our 11 night stay. However, towels were changed daily regardless of if we hung them up or left on the floor as per the instructions."

"This property was a gem. As of June ‘26 this is a newly remodeled property. Suites as huge and have plenty of space for a family of 4 or 5. Everything from the room entertainment to the bathroom was spotless. The lobby and restaurants are amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help. The pool, beach, and outdoor restaurant were also in great condition and had great options. This felt way nicer than equivalent properties in places like Cabo, Maui, or the Caribbean. The location of the property was great, it’s not in the middle of a city which gives you a bit more space at the beach but you are still a 15 min drive from Alcudia which is a great little town for dinner."
