AC did not work and the front desk person said AC technician might come later in the day or next day and no other room was available. I said we would need a refund for the night if the AC did not work. Then, after speaking to the owner, he gave us another room!! He or the owner could have just done it without this drama in the beginning itself. 2 No coffee or tea facility in the room. We had to go to...

"It was a great area if you want to walk to shops and restaurants but the entrance stunk really bad. Like sewer- the rooms did not tho and were very nice. Little small rooms but perfect for a short trip or couple. "

"Amazing hotel at a very convenient location! 15-20 min walking distance to the market and right across from Port Vell. Staff were very friendly. The thermostat in our room did not appear to work, and the water from the shower would go onto the floor because the door wouldn’t close properly, but that didn’t interfere with our wonderful stay. Would’ve also liked a water filing station for water bottles or free water bottles especially for the price being paid."

"Hostal Ambos Mundos is in a great location, with shopping and restaurants close by. It was clean and well furnished. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our only complaint is that we were unaware that it is on the third floor and there is no elevator. Diah was an awesome, helping us getting our luggage up and down the stairs though. "

"The rooms were clean, and the bathroom includes the typical bidet and towel warmer. The toilet paper roll holder is in an odd place, basically inside of the shower/bathtub area and kept falling apart when I tried to use. The rooftop pool, gym, and deck area is very nice! The staff was great and super helpful. Location is awesome, with a metro right outside the hotel."
