"Balcones del Caribe is a beautiful spot with an excellent location and easy access to the beach. The complex feels very safe, and the staff were always helpful when we needed general information. My only concerns were about the condition of the village: the back door didn’t have a proper lock, the bathroom door wasn’t closing well, and the safe box wasn’t working during our stay. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great potential—just needs a bit more attention to maintenance."

"I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay at the Costarena Beach Hotel. The staff was absolutely wonderful and always responded kindly to my requests and needs. My taxi back to the bus to transport to the airport was very late and I was concerned I could not get there in time, but my wonderful friend at the desk called another and made sure I arrived on time. The pool is ok and decent size but the jacuzzi was a plus for me because the weather wasn’t the hottest at the time of my travel. There was no water from 3-5 PM in our rooms for 2 days and the person checking us in AT 3:00 should have informed us of that.
