"It was our first visit to Madrid so we wanted to stay right in the centre and The Principal is in a great location. As you enter there is a flight of stairs and the doorman takes your details then bundles you into a small lift to reception on the 6th floor. The reception is between the restaurant and the bar and both look lovely, "
