"This hotel is a great option for those who want to be on the boardwalk in Atlantic City at a relatively affordable rate. The overall experience was good, but a couple of things were a bit of a miss. We checked in at 6:30 PM and we had to wait an hour to check in. This is the longest I've ever had to wait to check in really anywhere I've been and I think it was because they didn't have enough staff. I didn't realize how popular this hotel was, so be prepared to wait or arrive closer to 4 or 8/9 PM. The balcony/jacuzzi upgrade is absolutely worth it - the views are incredible and the room was bigger than my one bedroom apartment. The jacuzzi was wonderful but unfortunately, the shower didn't drain. If we were staying longer, I would have mentioned something to the staff but we were only there for one night. The other miss was that I paid for a late check out yet we had hotel staff come in without knocking two times in the morning. I'm not sure why they wouldn't knock first - it was very unprofessional. For the price you pay, it's worth it since other hotels in the area cost double. But, I guess in some ways "you get what you pay for.""

"The hotel although dated is very elegant and clean. I like the fact that pets are allowed in the hotel. Inspite of pets being allowed, the rooms are still kept very clean. For the location and the quality of the rooms, the daily rate is a good deal."

"The room and amenities were simple, clean, and well maintained. Overall, the stay was comfortable. However, one area that could be improved is the availability of drinking water. There was no water provided in the room, and at the very least, basic drinking water should be available for guests"
