"Stayed while in town for a wedding weekend. Loved the gorgeous hotel and grounds, attentive, friendly, front desk staff, and well-appointed quiet room. Would definitely return when I have more time to explore outdoors in warmer weather."

"Arrived later in the evening after working in Detroit earlier in the day. We had booked thru Expedia and had pre-paid for our room. We arrived to be informed by the person working the desk (who had a badge on that said mgt) insisted that she couldn’t find us but she could book us another room and we can pay again. I could go on about how long we argued about this, but I don’t have that much energy. All I can say is don’t do it. Staff sucks! "

"We had to wait for the front desk worker to return to the desk to check us in. Our room had a bad smell to it. Possibly smoking permitted at some time? The breakfast was seriously lacking with very limited choices and nothing with flavor. "

"I called and change my room and we got there they didn’t change. We I asked about it they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. We had issues with the water in the shower shutting off for minutes at a time. Very frustrating "

"The staff were incredible, very respectful and helpful. Unfortunately, there was no hot water to be had for the shower even though the faucet was indeed turned to ‘H’. Overall, bed was comfortable, and it was an okay place to spend a night or two for the price."

"Pool was freezing. Hot tub shut down for “maintenance”. Our hotel room was absolutely disgusting- dirty walls, dirty floors, there was ground beef and cheese from what Im guessing a taco from previous guests all over under the nightstand and the drawer of the night stand, bath tub not cleaned previously, room smelled of funk, and our smoke detector was wrapped in plastic!!!!!! "

"There was no hot tub, indoor pool was cold, very cold, breakfast was the worst I have ever eaten in a long time. Also the breakfast supposed to be till 10 but by 9:45 everything was removed. Way understaffed "
